Anti Spam Policy

By registering on the SendMachine website and agreeing to our Terms of Use, you are also agreeing to this Anti Spam Policy. This Regulation constitutes a condition of use of the SendMachin system owned by Sendmachine SRL.

Anti Spam Rules

The Customer shall not use SendMachine to send unsolicited email ("Spam"), whether for commercial or non-commercial purposes.

Definition of Spam

Spam is any electronic message (email) you send to someone who hasn't granted you deliberate, explicit, and still-revocable permission to contact them by email.

We will accept Email addresses if:
  • The email address is obtained from a newsletter form on your website
  • The email address is obtained when a customer purchased something from you
  • The email address is obtained from an online registration form, if the users checks the box that he wants to be contacted by email.
  • The email address is obtained from an offline registration form, if the users checks the box that

For the email addresses obtained by newsletter and online registration forms the customer must subscribe using a method of "double opt in" (both subscription and confirmation) for all new subscribers on the list. Client confirmation email sent to new subscribers may not include advertisements or other calls to action other than to confirm the subscription request. Using a list of new subscribers who have not confirmed (subscribers who have not met but one of the two steps of subscription) it done on your own risk.

All the emails sent trough our Sevice to subscribers must contain valid email addresses and the customer must take acction for all response messages from subscribers on its lists, including requests to unsubscribe. The customer has no right to refuse or ignore unsubscribe requests from subscribers of its lists.

We will NOT accept Email addresses if:
  • The email address is obtained from third party list
  • The email address is not valid
  • The email address is obtained with harvesting procedure from the internet
  • The email address is form an old database and the customer was not contacted in the last 2 years
  • The email address is admin@domain.tld, webmaster@domain .tld, postmaster@domain .tld, hostmaster@domain .tld, abuse@domain .tld
What will we do if we detect abuse ?

If we do discover that you’re emailing people without their permission, we will terminate your account. We are monitoring every campaign and if the spam complain rate for a particular client goes over 0.25%, the account is terminated and no further emails will be allowed.
